On Your Marks… Trustee Brett Takes on the Manchester Marathon

We’re thrilled that our trustee Brett Collocott is taking on the incredible challenge of running the Manchester Marathon to raise money for St Albans Mencap.

That’s 26.2 miles of determination, training, and probably a few sore legs – all to support people with learning disabilities and their families in our community.

Brett has been busy pounding the pavements in preparation, and we couldn’t be more grateful that he’s using this huge personal challenge to support our work. Every pound raised will help us continue providing opportunities, activities and support for the people we work with.
