Trinity Day Service
We all have the right to define who we are, make our own choices, join in the things we love, contribute and share our experiences with others. At times this can be a challenge. Trinity Community Project is here to help.
Day Service - Available Monday to Thursday 9:30am - 2:00pm (with sessions in both St Albans and Hatfield on wednesdays), sessions are facilitated by staff and volunteers providing a range of activities based on individual needs and interests e.g. arts and crafts, cooking, access to IT (incl. WI-FI), aromatherapy, trips into town, live music, seated games, quizzes. Clients can choose what days they would like to attend. Self-referrals as well as referrals from professionals and carers are welcome. A referral form can be downloaded here.
At Trinity Day Service, every day offers a welcoming, supportive environment where adults with learning disabilities can take part in meaningful activities, build friendships and develop skills.
While each day has its own theme, the heart of the service remains the same – a safe, engaging space where members can socialise, try creative activities, learn practical skills and enjoy being part of the community.

Our wonderful locations:
St Albans Mencap delivers Trinity Day Services from three welcoming community venues across St Albans and Hatfield, helping us support people with learning disabilities and their families throughout the local area:
St Albans - Homewood Road
Our Homewood Road venue is a welcoming and accessible community space in the heart of St Albans. It hosts a wide range of activities and support services, providing a friendly environment where people with learning disabilities can develop skills, build confidence, make friends and take part in meaningful activities. Sessions here take place on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week.
St Albans - Upper Lattimore Road
Located close to St Albans city centre, the Friends Meeting House offers a calm and inclusive setting for our services. The venue provides a peaceful space where people can come together, learn new skills, socialise and enjoy activities that promote independence, wellbeing and community involvement. Sessions run here every Thursday.
Hatfield - Saint Albans Road East
Our Hatfield venue enables us to support people and families across the wider district. Based on St Albans Road East, it provides opportunities for people with learning disabilities to participate in activities, develop friendships and access support closer to home, helping us reach more communities throughout Hertfordshire. Sessions here run each Wednesday.
