Whether you are considering becoming a paid staff member or volunteering your time at St Albans Mencap, both roles will give you the chance to enjoy a variety of challenging and rewarding experiences. Being part of the St Albans Mencap team enables you to meet new friends and gain life and work experience in a setting you may currently be unfamiliar with. It can also count towards your Duke of Edinburgh Award and shows commitment to supporting your local community, which ultimately looks great when applying for college, university places, or even a new job.

We also offer apprenticeship roles within St Albans Mencap which consists of a mixture of admin type roles in the office preparing for groups, as well as hands on working with on services we provide.
