Volunteering

Why volunteer?

Volunteering at SNAP can help you to gain experience in a child care setting, enhancing your knowledge of the roles and responsibilities of a carer through observation and supporting others. It is an oppertunity to develop your understanding of the ways individual children function and play - you may even wish to get involved with planning and organising activities. SNAP can help you to gain insight into Special Needs of varying severity, this can be valuble experience for those who wish to pursue a career with children and can also benefit those wishing to take up a career in medicine.

If fundraising is more your forte, we are always looking for volunteers with new ideas to help raise funds for new resources and activities to offer our service users.
