Volunteers are urgently needed

Becoming a volunteer gives you the chance to enjoy a variety of challenging and rewarding experiences. It also enables you to meet new friends and gain life and work experience in a setting you may be unfamiliar with.

There are different volunteering roles, for example, some people like to volunteer with administrative tasks whilst other enjoy directly supporting children or adults with physical and learning disabilities.

We are grateful for any offers of help, no matter how big or small. Remember, your time and effort will make an enormous difference to the care and support we can provide for our members.

We have a range of volunteering opportunities which include:

Proffessionals are also needed to run classes or sessions for the members, and their skills are often welcomed for use in the building, eg. plumbers and electricians.

If you directly support people / individuals with a learning disability, you will need to complete criminal record buero check (CLB), funded by St Albans Mencap.
